Plumbing NVQ at RF Training

At RF Training we offer the Plumbing NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating 6189-11 and Plumbing NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Installing and Maintaining Domestic Heating 6189-21 the newest plumbing courses available.

Our plumbing NVQ mixes theory lessons in with practical training to give you a better understanding of each module. Our courses also provide you with practical training from day one, which many college courses do not.

The modules on the new plumbing NVQ are interchangeable, allowing you to specialise your plumbing NVQ the way you want it. This means, for example, if you want to eventually become gas safe registered you could specialise in heating, which gives you the best preparation to move to the BPEC gas course to become gas safe registered.

As part of this plumbing NVQ you will be required to work on site with a practicing plumber to complete on the job training in order to build up a portfolio of work.

Our plumbing NVQ carries industry recognised City & Guilds qualifications, giving you the best start to your new career.

For those that need guidance on where to go after they have completed their plumbing NVQ we now offer the new start support program. In this program you will work with a business development mentor who can help you in your first steps to setting up a business or getting your first job.
