Unvented Hot Water Plumbing Course

It is a legal requirement that all domestic unvented hot water systems over 15 litres capacity are maintained by a qualified person.

A qualified person is someone who holds a current recognised Unvented Hot Water Storage certificate which is usually done through your initial plumbing course or by taking a top up plumbing course.

This plumbing course provides you with the industry recognised qualification and certification which will allow you to expand the amount of jobs you can take on.

The aim of this 1 day plumbing course is to train you in the installation and safety requirements of unvented hot water systems. Upon completion of this plumbing course you will have an understanding of Building Regulation Part G and associated legislation.

The certificate is valid for 5 years, after which you must attend an approved centre and re-take an unvented hot water plumbing course.

If you are interested in this plumbing course you must hold a recognised Trade qualification in either plumbing, gas or heating and ventilation.

Alternatively, you must provide evidence that you have experience working in the industry.

For reassessment, you must provide your current certificate before starting this plumbing course.

Upon completion of this 1 day plumbing course you will be able to:

Recognise the various forms of hot water supplies.
State the functional requirements of unvented domestic hot water systems.
Design an Unvented system to comply with Part G of the Building Regulations.
Carry out commissioning of an Unvented System State and rectify common causes of faults in an unvented system.
