The Domestic Gas engineer training must be completed in full before a candidate can be accepted onto the ACS Initial Training & Assessment programme. The Domestic Gas engineer training will provide you with the critical knowledge that must be gained before entering the gas industry and achieving GAS SAFE Registration.

Gas Engineer Training – BPEC Gas Foundation Course

During your Gas Engineer training you will gain theory, practical work, and assessments on a wide variety of tasks including these gas engineer training modules below:

Testing and purging of domestic gas installations
Gas pipework
Installation of domestic gas appliances
Commissioning, servicing and maintenance of domestic gas appliances

On-Site Practical Experience

Following completion of the gas engineer training programme, you will then work with a Gas Safe registered installer who will sign-off a number of tasks to complete your portfolio. These tasks will include:

Appliance services
Appliance breakdowns
Trace and repair gas leak
Working pressure at appliance checks

Upon completion of your experience, you will return to us where your portfolio of evidence is then assessed.
