City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing & Heating 6189-11
This full course was introduced in 2011 and features work experience to put your centre training into real world situations. This course also includes combination modules allowing you to choose an area to specialise in if you wish.

City & Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate in Heating, Design & Installation
This course incorporates many of the elements of the NVQ diploma but is geared towards gaining specific training in central heating systems. Although this does not feature on site experience it is a great career start for those who aspire to run their own plumbing company.

Essential Plumbing & Central Heating Design – not accredited
This 4 week short course has been designed to prepare trainees with the essential skills required to move onto the gas installers course and as such is non-accredited.
