Using our 20 years of locksmith industry experience we have designed a locksmith training course which concentrates on the practical skills needed to become a successful locksmith from day one.

During the locksmith training you will gain an understanding of the many different types of locks and the different access gaining techniques. This is so, that, by the end of your locksmith training you will be able to pick, decode and drill the vast majority of the British standard locks.

During the locksmith training you will also get helpful tips and advice from practicing locksmiths.

We only accept 4 trainees per locksmith training session meaning you will have a high amount of personal locksmith training with our tutors.
After the locksmith training you will be provided with the ‘RF Training Lock Opening Manual’ which shows how each lock behaves and how it should be picked, decoded or drilled.

The locksmith training we provide is based at our training centre in Atherton, Manchester. During your course you will learn all the techniques you will need to become a fully trained locksmith.

All our Locksmith training also include modules in boarding and glazing to expand the amount of jobs you can take on as a fully trained locksmith.

5 day Locksmith Training
This locksmith training course provides you with the skills and techniques needed to work on both domestic and industrial locks. The course will cover topics including how to open wooden doors, UPVC doors and garage doors as well as fixing sash door jams and digital locking mechanisms.

7 day Locksmith Training
This locksmith training will provide you with the same techniques taught in the 5 day locksmith training but with more modules to expand the amount of jobs you can take on as a fully trained locksmith. This course features modules as above as well as extra training in how to open motor vehicles and key programming.
