RF Training has developed a unique Fast Track Gas Installers training programme that allows new entrants to the gas industry to ultimately achieve their gas qulifications in the fastest possible time.
STEP ONE
RF Training has designed a bespoke 6-week plumbing & gas training course that incorporates the BPEC Gas Foundation. This programme ensures that you obtain essential plumbing and central heating installation skills as part of the training course. You will learn all practical and legislative aspects of gas supply and installation.
STEP TWO
Build your on-site portfolio with the assistance of a Gas Safe Registered engineer. This is a legal requirement as part of your training. If you do not know a Gas Safe Installer that will help you build your portfolio then RF Training will ensure you get a placement.
STEP THREE
Upon successful completion of your on-site gas portfolio return to the training centre. You will complete your initial ACS Training & Assessment. ACS is the Accredited Certification Scheme – these are your Gas Qualifications. You will undertake your core gas safety (CCN1) and 4 domestic elements (Central Heating, Cookers, Fires and Water Heaters). Individual gas appliances are categorised – you cannot work on an appliance unless you hold the correct certificate.
