Gas Training Courses
- Published September 22, 2010Career choices have become a massive topic for most people since certain job sectors are in decline. Looking into different industries has been the case for most people and they are trying to find a job that can be benefit to them for the rest of their lives. There are not many registered ‘Gas Safe’ Installers in the UK today, so it is something worth thinking about.
Historically new entrants have found it difficult to enter the gas industry. There are many reasons for this; to legally work on a gas appliance in the UK, you must be registered on the Gas Safe Register (formerly CORGI) as either an individual or as a registered operative for a commercial organisation. As part of the training processes all new entrants to the gas industry must be able to build a portfolio of evidence ‘on site’ under the supervision of an existing registered gas safe engineer.
At RF Training we have taken it upon ourselves to ensure that our trainees no longer struggle to find a placement and we will guarantee a placement with a registered Gas Safe engineer whilst a suitable portfolio of evidence is built.
RF Training offers the following gas training courses:
• Fast Track Gas Installers Course
• ACS Gas Training & Assessment
• BPEC Gas Foundation
Rf Training has developed a bespoke plumbing and gas foundation training programme that allows new entrants to the gas industry to fast track to Gas Safe Registration.
Gas training courses are here to for anybody that wishes to become Gas Safe (formerly CORGI) Registered. Previous experience is not necessary for those people who would like to start the Fast Track Gas Installers Course. This course is also suitable for plumbers, kitchen fitters, etc who may wish to upgrade their skills and qualifications.
With the right gas training many believe it has changed the shape of their lives there is a huge reward with the hard work that they put in.
Reports suggested that a gas engineer can earn in excess of £50,000 per year as a qualified heating engineer, depending on location and work hours the amount you can earn is variable.
