Gas Safe Courses

Since April 2009, Corgi was replaced by Gas Safe as the UK’s official gas safety regulatory body. Due to a review of gas safety in 2006, The CORGI gas registration scheme was brought to an end which led to a decision to change to a new gas registration scheme. All registered CORGI engineers should have been transferred to the new scheme.

Individuals who would like to get into gas safe courses must become Gas Safe Registered. Luckily RF Training provides such training.

Fast Track Gas Installers Course

This is one the gas safe courses which incorporates essential pipe fitting and central heating installation skills as well as the BPEC Gas Foundation Certificate. No previous experience in any kind of gas fitter training programme is necessary.

Successful candidates will receive a BPEC Gas Foundation Certificate ACS – CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, CKR1 & CPA1.

BPEC Gas Foundation

The Domestic Gas Foundation training course is accredited by BPEC. This course is mainly suitable for plumbers, bathroom and kitchen fitters, and individuals with a mechanical services background. To get into the ACS Initial Training & Assessment programme candidates must complete this course first.

Upon completion of this gas fitter training candidates will receive a BPEC Gas Foundation Certificate.

ACS Gas Training & Assessment Courses

As it is illegal to work on gas installations in the UK unless an individual operative is Gas Safe Registered. The ACS Gas Training and Assessment Course have been specifically designed for current GAS SAFE / CORGI Registered gas fitters and heating engineers that need to renew their ACS Gas qualifications. This course is not for new entrants and is perfect for people who have previously been involved in gas fitter training programmes.

The qualification gained from this course is the Gas Assessments CCN-1. CKR-1. HTR-1.WAT-1.CEN-1.CPA-1
