Part P Full Scope Electrical Training
The Part P electrical Full Scope course is aimed at those whose main role is to undertake maintenance and full installation work on domestic part p electrical installations which may involve complete re-wires or installation of complete ring mains, etc.
The Part P electrical course consists of 4 days Theory and Practical based training, followed by one day of assessments.
Upon completion of the Part P Electrical – Full Scope Course you can use the Part P electrical Full Scope Logic Accreditation (together with Wiring Regulations) to apply for registration for Part P electrical Full Scope competent person status with a scheme provider (NICEIC, CORGI, ECA etc).
The Part P electrical training allows you to self certify your own work, something businesses will look for as it means they won’t have to pay extra costs associated with having your work approved,

Part P Electrical – Full Scope – Outline
In this Part P Electrical course you will undertake a series of both practical and theory.
Part P Electrical – Practical Work
The following items are installed, inspected and tested on Logic Work boards:
- Installation of radial circuit
- Installation of spur to Ring Final Circuit
- Installation of additional lighting and control circuit
- Initial Inspection and Verification of Electrical System
- Visual Inspection for Fault identification on Electrical System
- Visual Inspection for Fault Identification of Heating Systems
- Identification of Electrical System Components
This is followed by hands on formation of Steel Wired Armoured (SWA) Cable Connections.
