City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing & Heating 6189-11

This is an industry recognised plumbing training qualification introduced in 2011 to replace the City & Guilds 6129 Plumbing Technical Certificate.

This Level 2 NVQ Diploma contains three clear sections all of which must be completed to gain the qualification:

Combination Units – practical centre led training where you will learn and complete general plumbing skills as well as many specific problems you may face when a fully qualified plumber.
Knowledge Units – centre led theory training that is tested using invigilated on-line exams
Performance Units – This is undertaken through a series of on site experiences which will be undertaken and assessed on a day-to-day basis by your mentor (a practicing plumber)

This course will also incorporate:
Water Regulations
Part L Energy Efficiency
