Corgi registered courses are still highly sought after in the UK. However corgi registered courses are no longer available for those looking to move into the gas industry.

This is due to the government changing the regulatory body for the gas industry.

What have corgi registered courses been replaced with?

Corgi registered courses have now been replaced with Gas Safe, which is the new body to issue licenses to gas engineers.

The content of the new Gas Safe courses are similar to the old Corgi registered courses. The new gas courses however visit areas in more depth due to Gas Safe tightening regulations on gas engineers.

Replacing Corgi registered courses with gas safe courses

All gas engineers must be gas safe registered, as such corgi registered courses are no longer relevant to the gas industry. All current Corgi engineers will be moved to the Gas Safe register.

Similar to the Corgi registered courses gas safe engineers require updates every 5 years of their registration.
