    Corgi Courses with RF Training

Corgi courses are still thought of by a number of people in the UK as the way to become a gas engineer and work on boilers, etc.

Due to the government changing the regulatory body for the gas industry; however, corgi courses are no longer available for those looking to move into the gas industry.

Corgi courses are now Gas Safe

Corgi courses have now been replaced with Gas Safe which is the new body to issue licenses to gas engineers and ensure engineers are working safely.

The content of the new Gas Safe courses are similar to the old Corgi courses. The new courses, however, visit areas in more depth due to Gas Safe tightening regulations on gas engineers.

All gas engineers must be gas safe registered, as such corgi courses are no longer relevant to the gas industry. All current Corgi engineers will be moved to the Gas Safe register.

Similar to the Corgi courses gas safe engineers require updates every 5 years of their registration known as ACS renewals to prove they can still work safely with household gas appliances.
